This belt will hold up to practically anything you can hang on it. Check out the image of two loaded .45's hanging on it, on a tiny carabineer. It doesn't collapse the D-Belt. The poly liner construction is the key. The poly is the correct thickness - strong enough to hold up without collapsing but still thin enough to flex in & out with your body for comfort. Why is it called a "D" Belt? The D-Belt name comes from the special "D" cut of the internal poly stiffener. This feature allows it to "crush" partially in the area of that belt loop at the small of your back. This prevents the belt from bowing out and becoming a chair hook, or poking into your back. More features The "speed bumps" stitched on the belt's tongue prevents the belt from completely unlacing too easily. It catches the buckle, and allows you to put on & take off pants without unthreading the buckle. The tongue is cut at an angle so it does not catch on your jacket or hands like a square-cut tongue. 100% made in Bozeman, Montana.
