Is this a "rigger's belt?"  E-mail

The D-Belt owes its origin to rigger's belts but we do not condone using the belt as a safety device.  It is not for rapelling, belaying, or diving out of windows.

Anyone that tells you a belt is made for that hasn't rapelled much.  Our backs hurt just thinking about rapelling with only a waistbelt.  Ouch...

The D-Belt is made for daily wear, hunting wear, holding your holster (cell phone, leatherman, pistol, or other) and of course holding up your pants.
